President Trump Tweets That The U.S. Will Help Charlie Gard If It Can

President Trump tweeted about Charlie Gard on Monday morning, saying the U.S. would be delighted to help.

Gard is a 10-month-old in the UK with a rare genetic condition.

His parents appealed to European courts to send him to the United States for experimental treatment, but the courts ruled that death would be in Charlie’s best interest.

The baby boy has been set to have his life support removed sometime in coming days, and pro-lifers worldwide have pleaded for the U.S. to help.

The news of the European Courts’ ruling was devastating for the Gard family, who had fundraised over $2 million to pay for the American treatments.
